I think only a plebiscite can solve the Kashmir issue.

The previous commentator is welcome to provide an argument in support of his assertion.

In my experience, many Kashmiris today hate huge Indian army presence. Time will come that there will be mass uprising and India will be humiliated in the whole world. Indian armed forces have killed thousands of civilians, many are languishing in infamous Indian jails, equal number are displaced and left homeless. So if we react we are terrorists? UN recognizes that Kashmir is a disputed territory. Kashmir had a prime minister before the 1951-1952 Constitution.

The commentator is thanked for this clearly deeply felt opinion. I am sure he is right that there have been many outrages and atrocities committed by Indian forces, as by others in this awful tragic conflict originating with the October 1947 invasion from Pakistan.
