On the plagiarism by Amartya Sen of my work (and that of others especially T. W. Schultz)

Today, 14 November 2021, I purchased *The Idea of Justice* published in 2009 by Professor Amartya Sen and I see it for the first time. My assessment of his plagiarism of my work and that of eg TW Schultz has been ongoing since 26 July 2021,

here Critique of Amartya Sen: A Tragedy of Plagiarism, Fake News, Dissimulation

and here The 1982 Subroto Roy Critique of the KJ Arrow Amartya Sen “social choice” theory, plus the FA Hayek and IJ Good comments, plus the 1989 chapter from *Philosophy of Economics* “Remarks on the Foundations of Welfare Economics”

My assessment was going to conclude soon but now it must continue to include relevant parts of the 2009 book. It gives me no pleasure at all. He and I first met thanks to Nabaneeta Dev Sen at Hindustan Park in 1964 when I was a noisy nine-year old and he was in his early 30s.

Now with his needless deliberate disgraceful plagiarism of my work, and of T. W. Schultz’s even earlier, I have lost, with sadness, what respect I had for him over the years.
