    Dafdar in the Taghdumbash Pamir in Kanjut is part of Kashmir. The northern border of Kashmir with East Turkestan at the time of the accession to the Union of India was on the Kuen Lun Range, the natural and historic border of Kashmir with neighbouring Trans-Kuen Lun State of East Turkestan.
